Inspections are performed in-water (In-Water Survey) by Underwater Technical Operators (UTO) or via Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV). These activities include the assessment of submerged infrastructure, pipelines, tanks, jetties, moorings and hulls, as well as seabed surveys, mapping and ferromagnetic anomaly detection.

Maintenance services are performed on submerged infrastructure and vessels, including hull, propeller and sea inlet cleaning, minor welding repairs and anode inspection and replacement.

Beyond inspections and maintenance, the SOS Bonifiche Diving Team specializes in the recovery of lost objects and historical artefacts from both marine and freshwater environments. Our expertise includes technical search operations, such as georeferenced positioning and the location of wrecks, pipelines and submerged infrastructure as well as specialized surveys for monitoring, mapping, and studying aquatic ecosystems.

Our team is qualified to provide support across various scientific disciplines, including geology, marine biology and archaeology. We conduct underwater surveys of seabeds and lakebeds, environmental monitoring through sediment analysis and water quality assessments, biodiversity studies, and underwater archaeological research, including manual or assisted stratigraphic excavations and comprehensive documentation of all operations.

BCM-SUB qualified personnel, handling the search, identification and where necessary assistance in the removal of war remnants in aquatic environments. This ensures public safety and the protection of the sites involved, often in preparation for future construction works. The intervention includes excavation operations and other invasive procedures on the seabed, supported by full documentation of the clearance process.
