Qualified team specialized in pipe laying, maintenance, inspections, underwater cleaning and safe management of marine unexploded ordnance

Underwater operations

SOS Bonifiche provides a comprehensive range of underwater intervention services, leveraging highly qualified personnel and cutting-edge equipment. Activities range from technical inspections, carried out by specialised teams or with the assistance of ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), to maintenance work on submerged infrastructure, ensuring reliability, precision and efficiency in every procedure.

The Diving Team is also involved in search and recovery operations, environmental surveys and monitoring, as well as support for scientific research across various fields such as geology, marine biology and archaeology. SOS Bonifiche's team competencies also include underwater unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance operations, aimed at making areas and seabeds safe from war remnants. An integrated approach that enables the team to respond professionally and safely to every operational requirements in the underwater environment.
Safe seabeds, protected lives: every dive combines expertise, technology and responsibility toward people and the environment.
Inspections are performed in-water (In-Water Survey) by Underwater Technical Operators (UTO) or via Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV). These activities include the assessment of submerged infrastructure, pipelines, tanks, jetties, moorings and hulls, as well as seabed surveys, mapping and ferromagnetic anomaly detection.

BCM-SUB qualified personnel, handling the search, identification and where necessary assistance in the removal of war remnants in aquatic environments. This ensures public safety and the protection of the sites involved, often in preparation for future construction works. The intervention includes excavation operations and other invasive procedures on the seabed, supported by full documentation of the clearance process.
