SOS Bonifiche participated in the 29th International Meeting of National Mine Action Directors and United Nations Advisers (NDM UN29), held in Geneva from 22 to 24 April 2026.
The event brings together representatives of national mine action authorities, United Nations agencies, donors, NGOs, the private sector and academia, offering one of the most prestigious global platforms for dialogue on the subject of mine action.
The central theme of the 2026 edition - "One Humanity" - highlights the human and universal dimension of a sector that operates in some of the world's most fragile and complex contexts, where the presence of anti-personnel mines and explosive war remnants continues to pose a concrete threat to civilian populations and an obstacle to development.
Being present in Geneva, at one of the most authoritative institutional venues in the sector, represented for SOS Bonifiche both a recognition of its role and an opportunity to actively contribute to the shaping of global mine action strategies and policies.
