SOS Bonifiche participated in the Syrian Italian Joint Economic Conference, held in Rome on 26 and 27 March 2026 and organised by the Syrian Italian Council (SIC). The event was dedicated to economic and international cooperation between Italy and Syria, with a specific focus on mine action activities, unexploded ordnance management and interventions in post-conflict contexts.

 

The Conference brought together technical operators, humanitarian organisations, institutions and business representatives, with the participation of leading international organisations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Norwegian People's Aid (NPA), creating a high-profile setting for dialogue and the initiation of potential operational collaborations.

 

For SOS Bonifiche, it was an important opportunity to bring its technical expertise to a qualified international setting and to build relationships with the key global actors operating in the sector.
